SPECIAL ASSISTANCE FOR PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION FOR “IRRIGATION SECTOR LOAN Basra & Nasiriya, Iraq Date: April/2015 – August/2015 Client: Iraqi Ministry of Water Resources & Nippon Koei/JICA This is a Japanese Soft Loan. Nippon Koei (Japan) was selected to do study for the actual situation for irrigation projects, requirements and needs to improve this sector and to start new projects and improve, rehabilitate existing ones. Dijlah supported Nippon Koei by providing specialized engineers in agriculture and mechanical engineering and other.	SUQ AL–SHUYOOKH IRRIGATION PROJECT Nasiriya, Iraq Date: 2007 Client: Ministry of Water Resources Budget: US$ 500 M The area of project is 87,500 Acres and is located in Suq Al-Shuyookh in Nasiriya on both sides of Euphrates River, South of Iraq. The consultant main activity is taking the topographic survey, soil survey, soil investigation, visibility study, design of irrigation and drain network including structures (pump station; pipe and box culverts; regulators, etc.).	AGRICULTURE AIRPORT Schematic Conce Hilla, Iraq Date: 2011 Client: Al-Khadraa Co. Budget: US$ 1.2 M DIJLAH has submitted Schematic Conceptual Design fort this project. It sits on a land of 155 Donum in Babylon. It is used as an airport for agricultural airplanes. Length of run way is about 1,000 m. Also, there are 4 Heliports in the site in addition to all other facilities, like navigation tower, hangars, and workshops and so on.
Esteel Dam ESTEEL DAM, Sulaimaniya, Iraq Date: 2011 Client: Ministry of Water Resources Consultancy fees: 150 M IQD The project is a small dam with 30 meter height to gather water for irrigation purposes, Dijlah prepared detailed designs, Hydro-logical, Topographic, Geological, Environmental, and Feasibility studies for this project.
