For this interchange, traffic study was taken into consideration in design. This is a major interchange in the city of Mosul and is the largest in scale and cost among 5 interchanges that were designed by DIJLAH. It contains a major and minor overpass with an accurate and complex network of roads. Besides, a tunnel is added to make the traffic flow more flexible.
