This stadium is in Karbala, South of Baghdad. Its capacity is 20,000 spectators. The main design concept is to use sheds that have the form of fig leaves or grape leaves to refer to the fertility of the land of Karbala, in particular, and of Mesopotamia, in general that acts as a shield for everything and every person underneath it.
